About us

To make Miami-Dade County a healthier, more livable community, Green Mobility Network uses education, events, and information to promote transit use, bicycling, running and walking for daily transportation, leisure and fitness.

Our Vision

  • We work toward the day when South Florida has a unified plan for efficient and hassle-free transportation from Palm Beach through Miami-Dade County that includes mass transit and ample safe routes for bicyclists and pedestrians.
  • We help both government and community groups to employ communication, design, education and enforcement to achieve safe streets that serve all the people.
  • We seek a community that supports a full range of choice in transportation – whether for work, recreation, school or daily errands.
  • We teach that informed cyclists, pedestrians and motorists should share the streets in safety and mutual cooperation.
  • Our dream is that walking and bicycling will open to residents and visitors alike the rich natural beauty of South Florida, with green space widely accessible throughout the county.
