Great Park Summit

Miami-Dade Parks & Recreation puts on this annual event in support of its Parks and Open Space Master Plan. This year's keynote speaker is Steve Coleman, director and president of Washington Parks & People, which has revitalized public parks in the District of Columbia.

The program at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden also includes Peter Wood of the Health Foundation of South Florida in a presentation on "Health and the Built Environment."
