Help complete the M-Path!

Join us in supporting improvements to the M-Path, Miami-Dade’s longest and most versatile multi-use trail for bicycling, walking, and running. We are currently seeking these safety upgrades.

What is the M-Path?

The M-Path extends from the Miami River in downtown Miami to the Dadeland neighborhood in suburban Kendall. With completion of the final 1.2-mile stretch in January 2012, the path now connects with the South Dade Trail at Metrorail's Dadeland South Station. That means we now have a continuous off-road path all the way to Florida City -- a 31-mile stretch connecting city jobs and cultural activities, schools, parks and neighborhoods, shopping, churches and recreation. Imagine the possible uses.

How can someone get involved?

What's most important is to use the path. If it's between your home and work or school, adopt it for commuting. Invite a friend or co-worker to ride along. Then watch for occasions to give the county your input and ideas. If you see a problem, report it here. Planning meetings about the path will be posted here; watch this space.  You're also invited to take part in our ride to celebrate the path's completion.
