Safe Routes to School

Green Mobility Network strongly supports Safe Routes to School. We invite parents, teachers, residents, and neighborhood leaders to work with us to enable children to get to school by bicycling, walking, and other nonmotorized means safely and conveniently.
 
Safe Routes to School is a national movement that depends on local energy and activism to involve schools and their neighbors in developing safe, healthy, active ways for children and youth to get to and from school. The movement also helps to promote safer and more livable neighborhoods and communities where children are free to play, bicycle, and enjoy other healthy activities without fear of danger from speeding automobiles and careless drivers.
